Hello everyone!

How has September flown by so quickly?? This month’s post will be brief but packed with good news! First of all, the first two books in the Fifth Sun series have been completed with book one, Revenge de los Muertos, set to release November 02, 2021. As October begins, I’ll be kicking off the traditional month of promo with a post next week sharing the official cover, blurb, and links for where you can pre-order your copy. I’m really so excited to finally be bringing this idea to the page and sharing it with you all.

Quick shoutout to my beta readers for putting up with me as I’ve crafted this series, refined it, edited it, and put it through edits until my picky brain was satisfied. Let’s hope our hard work pays off!

Fifth Sun is my latest creation, an urban fantasy series that is currently set to span over five books. I’d pondered the basic concept for a long time wanting to take the world of vampires, werewolves, witches, etc. and give it my own twist. My twist, I decided, would be to set the story in Mexico and give the supernatural world an Aztec influence. The world is also broad enough for potential spin-off series should you readers decide this genre is something you would enjoy more of. I’m an eclectic reader and I think my writing reflects that as I’ve danced from dark fantasy to apocalyptic/dystopia and now to urban fantasy/paranormal. I know some readers have their niche and they’re comfortable in it, but I love too many things and the stories in my head fall into so many different categories that I simply couldn’t commit myself to writing within just one genre. I hope you don’t mind! I’m having fun seeing what my brain will come up with next and hope you are too.
