Frequently Asked Questions
What age range are your books?
My books are a mix of Young Adult, New Adult, and Adult. The ages of the characters vary making it difficult to categorize and they’re all enjoyed by a wide age range of readers. If you’re asking because you’re concerned about the content (Is there profanity? Explicit scenes? etc.), then I would say all of my books are rated PG-13. While there may be some darker themes and some language, there is nothing that wouldn’t be allowed in a PG-13 movie. If you have more specific concerns, then please feel free to reach out to fellow readers or myself.
How many books will be in the Fifth Sun series?
There will be five books in this series following Selah and Rafael. Time will tell if I decide to write a spin-off series or not. Feel free to vote yay or nay!
How many books will be in the Walking Shadows saga?
There will be five books total although while they all take place within the same fictional world and are interconnected, each book follows a different character’s path. There will also be a few novellas and short stories scattered throughout the timeline for those of you who wish for a deeper dive.
How many books will be in the Otherworld series?
I never know if I should call this series a trilogy or not. There will be three books total, however, the last book will actually be more of a prequel (but it must be read last or else it’ll totally spoil the first two books especially as it includes an epilogue that takes place at the end of Carrion Crow. Think of it as a Star Wars type of situation where you start in the middle, go to the end, then jump backwards to the beginning).
What else do you have planned?
Well first of all my writing schedule is pretty fluid while I’m balancing other jobs and obligations so I can’t tell you for certain their release dates just yet but besides the three series (Otherworld, Walking Shadows, and Fifth Sun) I have a few standalones planned that include a space opera fairytale re-telling, a historical paranormal romance, a supernatural murder mystery, and a fantasy comedy. Other than that only time will tell! You can keep track of what’s coming up next on my Coming Soon page.
Will you be distributing ARCs of your books?
If you are a book reviewer with a blog or channel then please feel free to contact me for an eARC to review! I only have so many to give out so I request a review in exchange, but definitely contact me if you’re interested. Reviews are so valuable to authors!
Will you read my fan fiction?
Absolutely no offense intended, but NO I will not and do not read any fan fiction related to any of my books. Ever. This is not anything personal, it’s purely to protect me from a legal standpoint. I create/write all of my books from my own head and do not want coincidence in events, characters, or ideas, etc. to create unintentional conflict or legal issues. My books are solely my own work unless credited otherwise. Period.
