Yesterday I finally revealed the cover for Solus!! In case you missed it I’ll share it here as well. It’s so exciting when I get the cover because it just makes the book that much more real! Of course it also means that the publication deadline is vast approaching and that makes me nervous haha. I’ve spent this month busy editing, putting together some fun posts and promo content to share with you all, and now that we’ve kicked things off with the cover reveal get ready for a month of bonus content and teasers leading up to Solus‘ publication on June 25!! It’s almost here!! Read along as Bones’ path collides with the dwellers of the eastern mountains…
And although I’ve mentioned it here and there I just want to remind you that Dust to Dust (Walking Shadows #1.5), the companion novella for Alarum will be released July 16! I really love the characters Fury and Riker so I was beyond thrilled when you awesome readers came to me asking for more. I’d been on the fence about writing a novella for them and when you came out and asked for it I knew it simply had to be done. I really hope you like it! (And if you do then I have a few other novella ideas I’d love to write…)

So that’s all my bookish news for now. For once I’m keeping my newsletter brief ha! I mean, I have those final edits to get through and I don’t want to keep you waiting! But I’m really so energized to share these two new stories with you and I truly hope you enjoy them. Once I’ve recovered from all the work dedicated to this dual release I’ll be diving into writing that Otherworld prequel starring Cassandra. It’s mostly outlined and ready to be written! Hopefully I’ll be able to lock myself away and focus on it. In full honesty I’m not yet sure if it will be a novel, a novella, or something in between, but I promise that it will be whatever length it needs to be to share her tale. I’m so excited for this project although I admit alternating book genres has given me minor whiplash so from now on I think I’ll stick to one genre/series at a time haha. Or at least that’s my plan but sometimes my brain goes rogue so we’ll see…
A quick personal update: My eyes! If you read my last newsletter post then you’ll know I was undergoing eye surgery at the end of April (if you want more details you can read that post or just ask me) and I’m thrilled to report that except for a bit of a rough moment in the post-op ward (not their fault, my body just has its own lil issues lol) everything went really well. I can see 20/20, my eyes are healing, they’re healthy, and I still have two more follow up appointments with the doctor but so far everything is happy so I’m happy. It’s so bizarre/amazing to just wake up and see things. There are so many leaves on trees!! Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. ♥
