Anthology Release Party

Write Outside

Join me for the first monthly meeting of Fred & June’s Books’ new writing group for all levels, Write Outside! We will be meeting outside by the waterfall in Liberty Park in this (hopefully) beautiful weather where I will be leading a workshop in developing characters. You’ll have a chance to create new characters or explore existing ones of your own and hopefully will leave with renewed excitement for your writing project! There will also be the opportunity to meet fellow local writers, ask general writing questions, etc.

Don’t forget to bring something to write with! Laptop, tablet, notebook…bring whatever you prefer!

Teen Writing Group

WHEN: The 1st Thursday of every month from 5pm-6:30pm

WHERE: Mooresville Public Library

Published authors Katherine L.E. White and Talis Jones hold a monthly writing group for teens (ages 13-18) at the local library. Come meet fellow writers, learn more about the writing craft, explore your own creativity, receive feedback on projects, ask published authors any and all of your questions, and most importantly have fun! We alternate between writing prompts, mini lessons, Q&A’s, and an opportunity to share about your own writing projects. No one is ever forced to share their writing, but we do encourage you to as we do our best to make this a safe, chill, and constructive environment for everyone.

*Update: Due to a scheduling conflict, I will no longer be co-leading starting December 2022. I’m so sad to have to say goodbye! But maybe I’ll be able to jump back in someday! Keep on writing, you guys!
