Hello everyone!
This year has been a thrilling surprise with twists and turns and WOW! My latest novel, When Life Gives You Lemons, has been a project waiting patiently for ages and though I wasn’t sure anyone would want it, I was determined to write its story. I went into this like I do any other book except this time I decided it would be, at the very least, a bookmark in my career and that was a sad yet oddly freeing decision to come to. BUT THEN…you all rose up. Signings were being scheduled at local bookstores, other creatives and businesses reached out about collaborating, readers were sharing their excitement and pre-ordering, and I still feel overwhelmed by it all. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for supporting this book and supporting me in any way you could. ♡
The Surprise
My book was picked to be one of ten featured on the weekly New Release Tuesday post by Fred & June’s Books alongside NYT Bestsellers and authors far bigger than I!
I was absolutely amazed to hear that my book, When Life Gives You Lemons, was the bestseller at Fred & June’s Books for May/June since its release and it’s even featured on the “Popular Authors and Series” shelf at Editions!!
As a part-time librarian, I’m always thrilled to see my books on a library shelf and look! There it is on the “New Books” shelf! I’m so thankful to my wonderful and ever supportive coworkers.

Write Outside!
I was invited to teach a workshop at a local writing group hosted by Fred & June’s Books and it was so fun I will be popping in for several of their future meetings as well to assist!
The Audiobook
If you listened to the audio version of my Walking Shadows series then you’ll be familiar with the incredible narrators Paige Reisenfeld & PJ Freebourn whom have reached out with an interest in recording an audio version of When Life Gives You Lemons! Whether this will be a solo narration or dual narration, I’m not sure but I’ll be thrilled either way! I also don’t have any details yet except that I just found out it’s been scheduled for November (eep! 🎉), but I’m excited nonetheless that an audiobook is on the horizon to cap off this incredible journey!
